This years 38c3, the conference of the Chaos Communication Club, took place in Hamburg from 27th to 30th of december, 2024. From OpenPV, both @magro and me (@floko) joined this conference. We presented OpenPV at the congress at the very first evening. You can find our talk on
PV systems can use two different sources of sun radiation to generate electricity. The obvious source is the direct radiation, meaning the light coming directly from the sun. The second source is the diffuse radiation, ie the radiation which is reflected by air particles and then hitting the PV panel. Hence, the blue of the sky is the second source of energy for PV systems.
